Purchased 10/27/2017
Queen mattress M1262-1050 $402.42
Queen Box Spring M1000-5050
$134.14
Failed after 6 months, replaced on 4/25/18
I told the salesman when purchasing DO NOT sell me anything made by White Dove, only to find out after it failed, that White Dove was indeed the manufacturer. Tell me the salesman didn’t know!
Store credit given $402.42, Chose Stearns and Foster Lux Estate cushion firm, paid $1313.56, just for the mattress, after store credit of $402.42.
Stearns and Foster mattress failed 12/6/25, the box spring replacement is still fine to this day.
Mattress only 519818 LCF, 7 years into the 10 year warranty, that was decreased to 9.5, due to the first failure of a totally different mattress.
Received store credit for $1313.56
Replaced with Beautyrest paid $196 (approximately) more, we paid for cost difference and delivery fees). This mattress failed in less than 90 days!
3rd and final warranty claim
Replaced 3/7/26
Store credit given of $1349.25
Chose another model of the Beautyrest for $1699.00 and $370 (approximately) more we paid out of pocket. It was chosen because Levin’s discontinued the model that failed so quickly, surely they knew it was going to be discontinued when it was sold to us! Perhaps they were having warranty issues with them??
$566 (approximately), paid out of pocket in addition to store credit in less than 90 days, for another mattress failure. Not to mention all the hassle involved.
If this had been purchased directly through the manufacturer I would have been given the same mattress that failed and if they didn’t make it any longer, it would have been the next higher model at no cost.
I love Levin’s but their mattress warranty totally stinks!
You get store credit for the amount you paid, not nearly enough to get a new quality mattress, unless you downgrade and lose some of your money, or be forced to spend more. In order to get the same Stearns and Foster I already had, it would have cost me more than $1700 out of pocket, plus delivery fees to get it!
